Young people run away from home, a relative has lost their way, one parent removes the children from the other, a person is abducted – all cases for our experienced Bonn detective agency, which, among other methods, employs the highly effective technique of searching for persons with tracking dogs, known as mantrailers: +49 228 2861 4084.
The number of missing persons nationwide is increasing every year: on the one hand because unresolved cases remain on police files for 30 years and accumulate with new cases; on the other hand because, due to refugee movements, many people come to the Federal Republic of Germany and subsequently disappear from asylum accommodation in order to locate family members or friends in other cities. To illustrate: in 2015, just under 9,800 people were reported missing; one year later this figure had risen to 15,700. On average, 250–300 missing persons are reported each day, around 80 per cent of whom reappear within a month – though not always safe and well.
One month may be a comparatively short period of time, yet for relatives this initial phase in particular represents a time of unbearable uncertainty, as they must constantly fear that the missing person has fallen victim to a crime or, for example, no longer has access to vital medication. Naturally, the first days and weeks are of decisive importance in locating missing persons, as the rate of those found alive declines rapidly thereafter. Accordingly, urgency is required in person searches. Because investigations by the police authorities all too often pass without result – if any are undertaken at all – instructing our IHK-certified detectives in Bonn is advisable. Working with highly specialised person-tracking dogs, they take up the trail of the missing individual and are able to locate them promptly in the overwhelming majority of cases. Mantrailers (from the English “man” and “trail”) are person-tracking dogs trained through daily specialised instruction. Their thorough training and continuous further development enable these dogs to follow the scent trails of sought persons even after several weeks and across difficult terrain. Ideally, our clients provide us with scent articles such as worn clothing or nightwear (bed sheets, pillowcases etc.), from which the dogs can very effectively pick up the missing person’s scent, as scent molecules are most intensely present there, among other things due to perspiration. However, our mantrailers are also able to take up a trail from a scent article that has only been casually touched by the individual concerned and or does not possess such pronounced absorption properties as textiles.
Our experienced private detectives in Bonn work very successfully with true authorities in the field of mantrailing. We are pleased to undertake the search for a missing person from your environment – whether a runaway child, a relative suffering from dementia or a healthy adult who has disappeared without explanation.
