Daily offences are committed under the influence of alcohol, particularly by adolescents. In 2014, street crime increased by 390 cases (+2.9 percent) to 14,048 offences. This rise was largely due to the sharp increase in bicycle thefts, from 2,884 cases in 2013 to 3,358 in 2014 – an increase of 474 offences (16.4 percent).
